We have an engineer booked today to install a new battery backup system for the RFL servers, enabling us to have continuity during a power outage. We plan to start the work at around 4.30pm today which will result in downtime across all services. Remote sites and VPN users will also be affected.
Please can you make sure you save all work, close databases and come out of Outlook. We recommend copying any important files to your desktop so you can continue working, and copy them back once the servers are back online. We are aiming for 5pm for the work to be complete.
